Thanks Sid, we have ver been skunked so if we are successful on the draw then we are almost guaranteed Moose Meat in the freezer. Not that we are inubdated with moose more we are very good hunters..................... The first pic shows the type of terrain, old and dying Balsam Polars with an understudy of grass and Alders. Close range shooting for sure, 375 H&H Ruger #1. Second pic shows the frost on the underbrush. 3rd is moose and the honda game retreival vehicle on the bargs, sorry for the darkness of the pic and last is the crew loading the moose into the truck. We could have set up the "donkey" but many hands make for light work. Next is the Duck season Oct 1st and then Deer opening on the 19th.

It's not the Game but the Chase; not the Trophy but the Race!

Lost I have duck boy talked into trading you some gator for some moose. There is going to be a bunch of gator meat around after the high Tide this weekend.

Well the Tide came in and there are a bunch of crying gators around here. Plenty of meat to share. I made some Gator gumbo for Thanksgiving in honor of the high Tide. Was mighty delicious if I dont say so myself. Duck Boy took half a pot home himself. If you you would like to swap out some meat let us know, never had moose.

Thats alright Lost the tide came in again and we ate some longhorn for dinner last night. Although in Dallas they were eating eagle. We hope to get another eagle this weekend to get nice and fat for the winter. Shoot their aint any ducks flying this way so we might as well find something else.
