Update on Lucky

Well Lucky dog has grown up and will soon be a year old. My brother and I went to see Blake and help with a tower shoot they were doing this weekend. It was also to work our dogs. My brother has Lucky's brother his name is Vader. Both did extremely well. We know what we need to work on but overall I was very happy with how she did. Here is a few pic's form the hunt. I think I even impressed blake with how well she did.

Thanks LK she has been a treat to have. I have learned a lot as well. I guess Bassin can't find the post about his dog. Vader did a great job too, he was running like crazy, wish Lucky had his drive.

I am really pleased at how both of the pups worked they are doing great for not even being a year old yet.

I found the post just pissed cause i forgot my camera/phone. Hope we can do it again this weekend if Quaily is going. I need to get some advice on some training. I was proud of vador and lucky, he has been driving me crazy wanting to go out and do it again. You can read it in their eyes.

It is definitely fun I know Blake never says no to dog work. He would get a kick out of Griz.

I hate to spoil Bassins hopes but the shoot for this weekend was called off. DANG IT!!

Well I found Lucky's birthday it is 2/22/09 she is officially a year old now. Seems like yesterday when we brought her home!!

She is a chunky monkey. I think that is from the drugs she has been on after the surgery though. It does not slow her down when she wants to move fast.

LK she gets spoiled everynight by my better half and she sleeps with my son in his bed so she is definitely treated like its her birthday everyday.

Well it's not hard to make them one of the family but forgetting her birthday is unforgivable..... lol

with new boats and motors and shotguns and hunting gear etc. Mine gives me an awful strange look when I gave her a new shotgun last year and even stranger looks when I asked to borrow it.......... just what is the problem here anyway????? I did ask!
