For my little girl Lucky she is having her surgery today to correct her leaking problem. There is nothing to it but all the prayers are that everything goes fine.

Well Lucky made it through the surgery just fine and is in recovery, it wil take at least 10 days to recover from it she was split wide open!! but understandably. The kidney's were fine the surgery did take close to 3 hours to do but she is recovering fine and doing well. We will get to bring her home tomorrow, they want to watch her overnight.

She is going to spend the weekend at the vets we are going to visit daily, I just thought it would be better for the healing process for her keeping her calm and relaxed. Right now sheis on pain meds, has staples all the way down her belly because of the severity of the operation but she is resting and doing well, I am hoping to see her this morning around 9am. We can bring her home today but I don't think we can keep her calm and relaxed with other dogs in the house. Labs are one of the tuffest breeds there is and they will do anything including not paying attention to 20 some odd staples in thier stomach.

Got to go see her yesterday morning she is doing good but you can tell she is in a lot of pain right now and ready to go home. I will go see her today too, the boy is chomping at the bit to see her too. He has called everyday asking how she is doing and his momma said she would take him to see her. We decided to let her stay to keep her calm. She has staples that stiches together a cut that is about 9 inches in length. She is doing great though thanks for the prayers.

Thank you for the well wishes they definitely leave pawprints!! I have been miserable since we took her but she comes home tonight!!! I am pretty excited.

Well here is an update to the little one but she is doing good and is healing well. She is hard to keep quiet because of the puppy in her but we have been able to work on leash training with her and basic obedience.

Coming soon I have put some new ones that are not very good in the origional new puppy post in the dog training section but I have some pictures of her belly I am going to post too. I got to see pictures of the surgery itself which was pretty dang cool but here is a couple of pictures we took yesterday I dont' know if this would be considered puppy porn or not but these are the staples they put in her. She was sound asleep on her back. It was pretty funny but sheis doing well with it. She is really a neat dog and I am glad she is part of my family again. They are just a different breed and they have so much more personality. She is pretty smart too, I hope I can continue to challenge her like she challenges me everyday!!!

Well my little girl gets her stiches out today I wil keep you all posted. Thank you for the thoughts and prayers she is doing fine and is full of crap since she has had to be kept quiet for two weeks she is a bomb waiting to explode. She has tried to get into the pool in the rain the yard anywhere she could slipt to get away she has tried. Everything is looking good right now, I will keep you posted. Thank you again!!

Well I saw the pup today and she acts like she never been to the vet. Shes also eating Duck Boy out of house and home, she looks like a old ladies candy fed dog. She likes to play, but as soon as she see's daddy get her bumper down the switch flips and she's all about the work. It's cool to see this in a pup her age.
