Just a reminder, shots for our monthly contest need to be taken in the month of the contest. This may limit entries but our goal is to get us hunters out there to become photographers as well. So get out each month, shoot and come back and post up. Thanks all!
Just wanted to drop a note to all of you visitors and the Photographers here at HC. I have had a very busy summer and check in daily. I review alot but haven't posted much. You guys make my job easy. Keep it up and hope to get some time soon to go "shooting"! Thanks all!!

From the July contest: Must be shot int July!?!? Crap! I had all kinds of old photos lined up. Guess I'll just have to shoot some more. I've been dying to show this pic off. I was sure it could win. Shot back in Janruary. Absecon Inlet, North end of Atlantic City. This photo not eligable...

Another from over the weekend. This guy almost makes me want to get a deer tag and try again but if it wasn't him last year i saw his brother till season started and never saw a buck :woww: There was 4 bucks bucks early Sat morning but this is the only one that turned out half way decent

So what are your favorite sites to look at and learn how to shoot photos? I like DPREVIEW and PHOTOTAKERS....Anyone else care to share?

With all the rain this summer....several things have happened out of the ordinary here in my little town. The creeks have continued to run all summer, the foliage is extremely dense, and the river is BIG....My wife and I went out at sunset and took a few pictures... ...

A few from this morning going to have to mix more juice they are drainin two 4 cup feeder in 3 days :woww:
Macey and I took our walk and slipped up to the edge and took a seat to check the pasture out (she is so good about just sitting besides me and helpin me watch:god:) but nothing to be seen. Then once on the road man I'm lookin hard and the only thing I catch is a glimps of a deer crossing the road...
Had to try something a little different this morning when they showed up and it was still pretty dark.
Man they left for a while but are back big time now and boy do they love to scubble :lol:

Here are some pics from a Black Bear hunt I went on in Canada in early May. Hope you like them. I am just getting into photography and it is very addictive (also expensive). Mist of these are taken with the Rebel XTi and the Canon 100-300mm lens. No tripod so they probably could have been...
